The Eiffel Tower during the day

On our second day in Paris, we took the Batobus (riverboat taxi) to the Eiffel Tower. This was taken at our stop.
Being on the Batobus provided opportunities for beautiful shots of the Eiffel Tower behind this bridge.

And the overcast sky with sun peeking through really set the mood for shots of the Tower.
While at the Palais du Trocadero across from the Eiffel Tower, giant fountains/cannons of water started up.
And provided yet another interesting setting for photographing the Tower.
Finally, what post about Paris would be complete without a naked statue?! This guy was framing one corner of the fountains at the Trocadero.
