About a month after our sunset maternity shoot, baby L entered the world! I photographed him around one week old, and he was a fantastic little subject...who did not want to miss a thing during his shoot. Look at those bright eyes!
But eventually, after a quick feeding and an outfit change, he was ready to settle in for the very fun photos planned by his mom and dad. First up, showing his love of the Florida Gators, just like mom and dad!
For the next photo I had to go to a galaxy far, far, away... I think he's an adorable jedi in training!
Then we headed into the NYC sewers...
and finished in the NYC streets, fighting crime, aliens, and whatever other bad guys need to be taken down!
But we couldn't finish a newborn photo shoot, with such an adorable subject, without a bit more "traditional" of a photo. He looks so sweet in his basket, with the blanket knit by mom keeping him soft and comfortable.
He was also not afraid to let us know when he was not so happy about being posed!
But despite some of the cries, he really was a fantastic little subject, letting me capture him first in these sweet, wide-awake moments.
